The short version
KickBot is a chat bot for Kick streamers. We do not collect personal data, we do not run analytics, and we do not have access to your IP address. Everything we keep is stuff you typed into the dashboard yourself so the bot has something to work with.
What we store
We only save the data needed for the bot to function on your channel. That means:
- Your Kick username and channel slug, so the bot knows where to connect.
- Chat commands you create (trigger, response, cooldown, permissions).
- Auto messages you set up (text, interval, on/off state).
- Bonus hunt entries you build (slot list, bets, payouts, notes).
- Tournament data you create (brackets, players, results).
- An OAuth access and refresh token from Kick, so the bot can post in chat on your behalf. These are stored as secure HTTP only cookies and in our backend.
That is the full list. Nothing else is recorded.
What we do not collect
- No IP addresses. We do not log them and have no way to view them.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no third party trackers.
- No advertising cookies.
- No chat history. Messages your bot reads from chat are processed in memory and discarded.
- No viewer data. Only the streamer who logs in is known to the system.
- No payment info. The service is free.
How long we keep it
Your saved settings stay on the system until you delete them or delete your account. We do not share, sell or rent any data to anyone.
Cookies
We use a small set of cookies, all strictly necessary for the app to work. They store your Kick OAuth tokens and a session identifier so you stay logged in. There are no marketing or analytics cookies.
Deleting your data
You can wipe your commands, auto messages, hunts and tournaments from the dashboard at any time. If you want every trace of your account removed, log out and contact us and we will purge the entry from the database.
Third parties
The only third party we talk to is Kick itself, through their official OAuth and Public API. We need that connection to read your channel info and post chat messages. Their privacy terms apply to anything you do on Kick.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what we store or how we store it, this page gets updated and the date at the top changes. There is no hidden fine print.
Contact
